EXCELLA Interior & Overall Condition
The interior features a bright, updated design while still maintaining the classic Airstream character. The layout is open and functional, making it well-suited for a variety of uses, including Airbnb, guest accommodations, or a private retreat. Commissioned units restored to this level, inside and out, commonly cost well over $100,000.
The previous restoration was completed by another shop as a full chassis-up restoration only a few years ago and has been very lightly used since. It later received light, primarily cosmetic, storm damage.
The shell, frame, and subfloor are in excellent restored condition, and the camper looks, feels, and smells like a brand-new 2026 model. The appliances are like new and show no signs of use.
This presents a great opportunity to obtain a beautifully restored 1988 Airstream for significantly less than the cost invested.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to the way the insurance company processed the storm damage claim, this unit is not eligible for registration or tagging and is not intended for regular highway use, despite its overall roadworthy condition.
It is best suited for stationary use such as an Airbnb, guest accommodation, or similar setup.
The bedroom currently features a queen-size memory foam mattress. The living room converts into a larger than king-size bed by lowering the table and placing a support panel.
Because the prior restoration work was completed by another shop, we are unable to provide guarantees on the build.
The step light and entry light above the door are functional. The patio light to the right of the door was decommissioned during restoration. Minor exterior dents are present upon close inspection, It is nearly impossible to find an Airstream of this age without at least some dents, dings, and scratches. She has excellent character.
2015 EDDIE BAUER AIRSTREAM
This Modern Airstream is currently in the design and planning phase, with several possible directions being explored for the final build. Inspiration for the aft section of this camper to be rebuilt comes from the very localized rear end damage. Aside from the rear damage this camper has only been used a few times and stored indoors, so all original systems and interior is in near mint original condition. Rather than simply repairing the back of this unit to its original factory configuration, we prefer to use damage as an opportunity to reimagine the camper into something completely one-of-a-kind through custom design, fabrication, and creative engineering.
One potential design concept draws inspiration from the architectural styling and colors of Frank Loyd Wright. Layouts, materials, finishes, and structural details are still being developed as we complete other projects that are in line 1st, allowing future owners the opportunity to help shape the direction of this build and create a one of a kind personalized custom Airstream. One potential direction for the build includes a custom Aft Deck similar to our widely recognized 1976/2025 Airstream Argosy Aft Deck.
Additional concepts currently being explored include an Aft Glass Wall version featuring a massive near floor-to-ceiling rear window designed to bring in exceptional natural light and create a stronger connection to the surrounding environment. If someone wants to use this unit as a stationary Airbnb rental or Tiny Home the glass wall could incorporate a large door that could be backed up to a stationary wraparound deck. We are also developing a geodesic dome greenhouse inspired version that expands on the glass wall concept. This version would use large glass panels wrapping around the curved rear corners of the airstream to create an immersive interior greenhouse or sunroom lounge space with panoramic visibility. These concepts represent an opportunity to create a truly one of a kind custom Airstream unlike anything else ever built.

2006 AIRSTREAM LIMITED (LTD) - 75th YEAR ANNIVERSARY EDITION
A highly sought-after Classic 31-foot travel trailer featuring solid wood cabinetry and a slide-out floorplan. Aside from cosmetic dents and scratches along the sides and a more-than-minor dent on the upper portion of the front end cap, this camper was stored under a carport, extremely well cared for, and only lightly used. The unit can be enjoyed as-is, or it can serve as an excellent candidate for customization or rebuild through Dragonfly Campers. Without damage similar units often sell for 50k-70k+.

DISCLOSURE: This Airstream was stored out of the weather under a metal carport for most of its life, a falling limb impacted the structure, resulting in a dent to the front upper end cap of the camper, as well as a couple of much smaller dents along the passenger side. The damage is cosmetic in nature and does not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the unit. The original awning hardware has been removed and set up in a fixed configuration. The refrigerator is currently being worked on. Due to the insurance claim that was made on this unit It is unable to be tagged for regular highway use so it is intended to be used as a park model.

Dragonfly Campers only renovates camper trailers that we have personally rescued and purchased.
We believe the best results come from having a clear vision, defined scope, and a finalized agreement for any customizations before major work begins. When you purchase a Dragonfly Camper that is still undergoing restoration, you may have the opportunity to provide input before - and in some cases during - the rebuild process, depending on the stage of the project. While limited customization may be possible on completed campers, the preferred window for incorporating custom requests is during the rebuild phase, prior to completion. This allows for a more cohesive, intentional result.
